Chloe's sweet cheeks and bright blue eyes made her the most perfect owl we've ever laid eyes on. She stole the show with her little striped legs sticking out of her precious costume.

Hopefully tonight goes okay for Chloe because tonight for dinner she ate:

2 Hotdogs
1 Bag of SunChips
1 Peanut Butter Cup
Apple Juice

Well, we won't win any prizes for feeding our kids the healthiest diet, but we WILL WIN the prize for the two cutest kids on this planet. Just saying...

Meet Buzz. Don't worry, though. It's "really, me Brooks" under it all! Brooks loved today and loved dressing like his favorite character. He was so cute saying, "To INFINITY and BEYOND" to some and "TRICK OR TREAT" to others.

It would take another whole post to tell you about some major changes at our house this week, but let's just say that the changes are working.

Brooks has become a boy filled with love, obedience and even some peaceful moments. It is amazing and Greg and I are thankful. We are thankful for our awesome Sunday School class on parenting and our wonderful support system.

Greg said to me tonight, "I can't think of one time that I was upset with Brooks all day."

What a perfect Halloween, just perfect.

One of the best nights of the week at the Johnson house is Sunday. Sunday is the day that "if we nap after church" we get to have our cousins over to play and eat pizza and ice cream.

Brooks napped and Chloe napped (although NOT at the same time--BOO) and so we got to enjoy our cousins tonight! Brooks LOVES his Maggie and Kennedy. He loves them so much that his emotion often gets the best of him and he can barely control himself (which usually leads to a few time-outs).

From oldest to youngest...here are 4 of the most beautiful, loving and wonderful children on this planet.

Ready to see something really sad?

Chloe has been our one-eyed girl this weekend. She is on the mend and the doctor thinks it was just a bug bite.

When Chloe gets sick or injured she is just so cute. Maybe it's the helplessness and the idea that she counts on us for everything so much more when she is hurt or sick.

If possible, we may have fallen more in love with our baby one-eye this weekend.

She was just so filled with cuddles and needed us so much. It was wonderful.

We went on a hike tonight in the woods. The entire hike took no more than 10 minutes. We were getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and Brooks had to be carried back to the car because he was too tired.

When we asked Brooks if he wanted to go on a "hike" in the woods he was super excited. Like, super duper super duper excited. He was squealing and saying, "I've never done that before!"

It seemed cool, yet odd that he was so thrilled to go "hiking" in the woods. We've taken him hiking in the woods before, so it didn't seem like it should be such a big deal.

Come to find out a few minutes later, Brooks thought "hiking" in the woods meant riding his bike (training wheels and all) in the woods. I am sure he was thinking he was going to be just like his Daddy, and he was thinking "hiking" was actually "mountain biking".

So, we had to find some woods that were a little less "woodsy" in order for Brooks to go "hiking" in the woods. It wasn't his first singletrack experience yet, as he is only three, but he did as well as a three year old should in some pretty sweet doubletrack!

Does anyone remember this little man? I can't even stomach how much he is changing. Boo. Hoo.
